Doesn’t shrink
This is considered a golden rule for scrubs.
If the robe you are buying shrinks after use, it is probably made with cheap
cotton threads that crumble when in contact with moisture. Steer away from this
material as it will do a lot worse than any good!
Color retention
It is very important to choose the right
colors, and since, doctor clothes are restricted to a few, it shouldn’t be a
problem. After buying, test the retainability of the colors by submerging them
in warm water. If it looses the color, it is not something you would want to
buy again. Feel the fabric to determine the quality, as most of doctor scrubs
are made with a holistic idea of quality!
Breathable
Doctors are front line warriors and they can
go through days where working conditions are simply adverse. This is one of the
reasons why the clothes they decide to wear should be breathable enough.
Especially surgeons who partake in lengthy surgical procedures. If the clothes
on them is on comfortable, concentrating on the work might be a challenge in
itself.
